Shield was in the past now; Sage was now in the present. I quickly learned, to my surprise, that Riikka had succeeded in holding off Kaji and Mizu to some degree. The two Mages had retreated rather quickly, so Riikka and Rina reunited with me almost as soon as my battle was over.
Once we felt we were safe, we attempted to find Sage’s remedy together, but we quickly discovered we were not alone. A sole cat Mage, who had been working alone, was shoved in a closet, similar to my capture, and he was glad to give us the remedy after saving him.
